Estimated reading time: 2 minutes, 13 seconds
In two weeks time its A4U Expo London 2010. As a mediapartner we will off course be present at the Excel Centre to cover the conference, but there is more! We not only gave away the free ticket for the conference, we also talk about the show in advance, on our radioshow, on our special A4U page and right here! We have asked several speakers some questions about A4U Expo. You can find their answers here, plus the reasons you should go and see their specific sessions!
Today a very special interview with The Squirrel who represents conversion-rate-experts.com. Enjoy and see you next week in London!
Go see his answers here:
1- What makes A4U a different conference to be speaking at than others?
A4uexpo is extremely results-focussed. For the attendees, effective marketing is a matter of life or death. This seems to attract smart, dynamic people.
2- What can people expect from your presentation?
We’ll be describing 15 of the most common conversion killers—the things that are currently killing your profits—and explaining specific, easy-to-implement techniques for eliminating each of them.
We’ll also be giving a conversion clinic, in which (brave) members of the audience will submit their websites for constructive criticism. You can learn loads from seeing specific examples of how other websites can be improved.
3- Why should people attend your session instead of the other ones?
An effective web business needs traffic and conversions, so you shouldn’t be restricting yourself to sessions about traffic. If you can’t out-convert your competitors, you can’t out-bid them.
If you’ve read our articles, you’ll know that we cram our talks full of useful tips. And our techniques work, as proven by our case studies.
4- Which other sessions would you recommend?
There are loads of good ones, as usual. SEO Ranking Factors in 2010 has some brilliant participants: Dave Naylor, Jon Myers, Dixon Jones and Will Critchlow.
5- Whats the biggest mistake you’ve made when it comes to affiliate marketing?
We’ve made many mistakes but, because we split test, we’re allowed to call them “experiments”.
Do you have a question for the conversion rates experts which he can answer in his presentation? Post it in the comments here and we’ll make sure he gets them!
