Clay Shirky about how technology is changing us from consumers to collaborators

24th June 2011

Clay Shirky is a teacher at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, where he also researches the interrelated effects of our social and technological networks. He is somebody with a firm opinion and somebody who knows about the evolution of search engines and the web in general.

Last year Shirky visited Google as part of the Authors @ Google series. There he talked about how technology is changing us from consumers to collaborators, part of his book “Cognitive Surplus”. Luckily for us Google puts these videos online ;). Enjoy!
