With the launch of Google+ Local yesterday Google again shows it acknowledges the importance of local. Without a doubt we will see more integration between Google+ Local and Google Places and the search results very soon. Keep your eyes open for that.

  • Not sure about the ‘97% of consumers search for local businesses online’ figure, though I realise that it comes from Google. I don’t know many people over 60 that use the web in this way, and I’m pretty sure that over 60’s are >3%.
