With the launch of Google+ Local yesterday Google again shows it acknowledges the importance of local. Without a doubt we will see more integration between Google+ Local and Google Places and the search results very soon. Keep your eyes open for that.

In the mean time we should all be aware of the fact that local really plays a huge part and our content should be crafted so it is beneficial for local purposes as well. This infographic looks at content marketing and local SEO.

    Not sure about the ‘97% of consumers search for local businesses online’ figure, though I realise that it comes from Google. I don’t know many people over 60 that use the web in this way, and I’m pretty sure that over 60’s are >3%.

    Cool infographic nonetheless :-)
