A cool new cooperation: State of Search becomes media partner for SES

28th June 2010

The website State of Search first came to live at SES London 2010. The first posts were about that conference where we as founders (Lisa and me) were joined by some of our friends. SES and State of Search are therefore always connected. And they kept on being connected in the months after SES London when we covered other SES events like Amsterdam and New York. But now the connection has been made ‘official’. Starting last week State of Search now is an official SES mediapartner! And we are very proud of it!

As a media partner State of Search will off course be covering the events extensively through our posts and our special SES-event pages. But not just that. We will be bringing news about the events going up to the events, we will be sending out a special SES Newsletter and we will be giving you discounts (already 20% off for the next one (see below) !) and the occasional free tickets for the SES events! We are looking forward to all the SES events we will be covering and we will be back with more news about SES soon.

SES San Francisco 2010

The first SES we will be covering as an official SES partner is SES San Francisco 2010. This SES event is immediately a cracker. For the first time SES is turning into a full online marketing event, now called the “Connected Marketing Week” with sessions throughout an entire week. Already 1,500 people have registered so far so the conference will not only be a learning but also a networking event.

The event in San Francisco will be full of interesting stuff, so says Matt McGowan, Publisher ClickZ.com, SearchEngineWatch.com and SES:

We are bringing together the biggest, hottest and most well respected brands in the online marketing and education industry so that our customers can experience them all in one place. Jeff Pulver’s #140Conf designed for those interested in the effects of the real-time Internet on both business and “we” the people (politics and advocacy). The IAB’s Ad Networks and Exchanges summit which is the only conference dedicated to understanding and best practices in how auction based display advertising is affecting the ad agency and media industry. The Online Marketing Summit which will focus on social media and how brands are now interacting with their customers online. The E-Mail Experience Council (EEC), part of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), will focus on best practices in email marketing. Conversion Conference will speak to attendees about how to best optimize your web sites, basically, how to maximize your existing traffic. SES San Francisco, the world’s leading search engine marketing conference dedicated to educating companies and individuals on how to best maximize their seo, ppc, mobile and local search campaigns and integrate them with other marketing channels. ClickZ’s BlogWorkZ, a free event for those who pass the screening process, dedicated to discussing the evolving strategies and trends in blogging and how help your business stay connected and the International Marketing Forum which will be dedicated to the issues businesses are experiencing as they enter new markets and best practice solutions for them. In addition there is an expo hall highlighting 100 of the world’s leading service providers in the online arena, classroom style training and networking events and parties each and every night. With thousands of agency, corporate marketers and executives and entrepreneurs expected this will most definitely be a week to remember.
