Google Might Let You Change The Links In The Black Navigation Bar

Estimated reading time: 0 minutes, 45 seconds

Coming right after the experiment which was discovered earlier this week that hides the left navigation from the search engine by default is the news / rumor / hope that Google, in the future might let you customize the links to the different products in the black navigation bar.

Google Community Manager Kelly Fee posted this on Google+

`The larger question here is about customization of that bar and I can tell you and everyone else that customizing the product navigation links is a popular request from our users, and it`s something we`re looking into.`

If this happens this could be very nice for some users who can make all links relevant to them. For example, I don`t use the link to Google Play and this way I could remove it and put something that´s now hidden under the `More` menu. Would you use this feature?

Definitely, it would be interesting to see how this could affect searches. I am pretty sure this will increase the use of Google Videos
