Kate is a well seasoned (experience and breadth of knowledge) online marketer with a passion for teaching others. She has been in search for over 10 years covering the paid, natural, and social sides of search.
Kate is an instructor for the University of San Francisco’s Advanced Search Marketing course and an upcoming seminar program from Oregon State University. She has guest lectured for the University of Washington and plans to teach more in the future.
In her day job, Kate works with many different types of companies, from small start ups to large corporations. She is a consultant that loves to marry the ever changing world of search to the wider marketing plans of her clients.
Kate is also a regular speaker on different marketing and search events. Recently she has spoken at KahenaCon, Marketing Festival, Seattle Interactive, Pubcon, and SearchLove events. She has done internal training for companies, panels and keynote level speeches on everything from keyword research to outreach and paid search now and then.
