Welcome To The State Of Search Redesign Part One

27th March 2012

Hello! If you are a regular visitor to State of Search you will notice something is up. The site doesn’t look quite the same does it?

That is because what you are witnessing is our redesign! We have been working on the redesign for a while now. Today we are proud to show you part one of our redesign.

Part one? Yes, the changes you are seeing are just the beginning, it’s a major shift, and we have some more changes lined up for you which we will be adding to the site in the coming weeks.

The redesign is done by Roy Huiskes (co-host of the show) in cooperation with his business partner Arjan Snaterse and a good friend of State of Search, Alex Moss. We also had help from many others with their input! A big thanks to all of these people so far!

Why?

So why the redesign? First of all because we had the ‘old’ design ever since we started and we were ready for something new. But more importantly we believe that the site needed a refresh because a lot of the great content on here ‘gets buried’ way to soon.

So we wanted a design in which you can more easily go through the different posts and pages we have.

What’s more to come?

So this is not all yet, there is more to come! We are working on improved bloggers and event pages and we are working on some other great features which will enrich your visit to State of Search.

In the next few weeks we hope to be rolling out these changes, so stay tuned, we are updating some of the content on the live site to make it look better, so you might see some changes when reading. In the meantime, click through our renewed homepage, and let us know what else you would like to see on State of Search!

We want to hear your thoughts and keep in mind we will be ‘cleaning up’ in the next few days! And if you want the ‘full experience’ make sure you clear your cache ;).
